If you're ever afraid, yell out "FOOFARAWR!" and Neon Bear will come to the rescue and show you that you should not be afraid of the dark.
Foofarawr is a short film, aimed at 4 to 6 year-olds, about being afraid of the dark. In it, our main character encounters a special animal, Neon Bear, who is happy to show that there is nothing to be afraid of.
For Foofarawr, I was responsible for the concept, story, character design and FX Animation. It was a lot of fun to work with the group and develop the storytelling into a song. We thought that telling a story musically would be very effective with our target audience.
Being afraid of the dark is probably the most common fear, as a youngster, and we wanted to communicate a solution and a fun way to discover that fear is only in our heads.
