REVERIE

Reverie is an upcoming graduation film made at The Animation Workshop, which I've had the privilege of directing. The film will premiere January 2018. Follow our development blog here.

Deep in the harsh mexican countryside, where every breath is a struggle, a young boy faces off against a deadly beast to save his brother. Reverie is a story of brotherhood, struggle and self-discovery.

For Reverie I have been responsible for concept, story development, storyboarding, editing, as well as animation. Below you can see some teasers for the film.

Inspired by my travels around Mexico, mythology and the works of Andrew Wyeth and Juan Rulfo, Reverie is a mixed-media film where CGI and painted landscapes fuse to create a feverish dream that reminds us of the beauty in hardships.
